Roseddia Dalton, age 75, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Ms. Dalton was born in Louisville on December 13, 1941 to Thomas Prince Nichols and Mattie Mae Nichols. Mrs. Dolton was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Star of Hope 183.
Mrs. Dalton is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mattie Nichols, and two brothers, Thomas Edwards Nichols and Steve Lloyd Burgess.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gerald Dalton and her daughter, Melissa Stout (Joshua); her brother, Robert Eugene Burgess; her grandchildren, Sarah Crutchfield, James Viers, Jacob Strickland (Destinee), MaKayla Stout, Justin Stout, Amee Stout; and her great grandchildren, Madison Viers, Lillian Perkins, Wyatt Ashley, Anakin Watson, William Hill, James Crutchfield, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, February 8, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Order of the Eastern Star service will be conducted Wednesday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m.
