Mrs. Viola Jefferys, Aged 77, Beloved mother of Margaret Fern Walters Sherick, of Sacramento, CA., Harry W. Walters of Los Angeles, CA., and Earl F. Walters, Who was killed in WWI. Step sons Willard Jefferys, of Los Angeles, California, Wilbert Jefferys and step daughter, Euseba Jefferys. She is survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Viola passed away at Sacramento, California on June 20, 1947 and was interred at the Inglewood Cemetery at Los Angeles on June 25th, 1947 beside her son Earl Ford Walters.

She was born September 9, 1869 on standing Stone, Wirt County, West Virginia the daughter of Samuel Ford and Eliza Sayre McFee. Four sisters, Alcinda, Arsanna, Leah and Nora all preceded her in death. She was a cousin of the Deever family of Standing stone. She was married to John Warren Walters on July 30, 1890 in Wirt County West Virginia. John preceded her in death in 1903. On September 29, 1905, she married William Henry Jefferys, who passed away In 1933.
