Abraham & his brother Martin sold their land in Elizabeth Twp Lancaster Co PA to their brother Christian Stehly and moved to Wythe Co VA June of 1780.

According to Joan Keller in her Book "Some Descendants of Ulrich Stehley", Abraham Served in the Virginia Militia under Capt John Ward, in 1780 under Capt William Doak.

She has him born about 1750, however that would make him a father at age 15 since his first child George Michael Staley was born Sep. 1765.

Abraham would have been born 1742-47.
