Harrison Apple, age 52; Mary W., age 46; William, age 29; Elizabeth, age 22; Isabel, age 17; Annie, age 14; John age, 10; Elisha, age 7.

1880 U.S. Federal Census – NA Film # T9-0998, page 329A, North Lewisburg, Champaign County, Ohio:
Harrison Apple, age 60; Mary W. age --; John age, 20.

Per "Hardesty's" Roll of Honor page – "Apple, Harrison 4 years in Co. "H" – 66th O.V.I. died October 11, 1885." Harrison Apple's name also appears on page 18 as a member of the G.A.R. Briney Post #293.

Per Civil War pension records (Certificate # 249094) his occupation was harness maker and saddler. He married Mary Emerson on January 26, 1841 in Nelson County, Virginia, by Rev. Ed Thomas. Harrison Apple suffered from sun stroke at Chattanooga, Tennessee in May of 1864.

The February 15, 1909 "Application for Reimbursement" states Mary Apple died on November 14, 1907 in Long Beach California and was buried in Signal Hill Cemetery.
