Ella was the fourth child of George & Remina "Mina" (Griffin) Churchill. Her siblings were: Ada Buffum, Ida Durgin, Ezra, & Grace Wilson. She worked as a telegraph operator. She died of tuberculosis just a few days before her 19th birthday. She is buried next to her parents and her niece, Grace E Buffum. Her brother, Ezra and her sister, Ida are also buried here at Lakeview.
