Mrs. Reynolds and Sister Die in Car-Truck Crash

A car-truck crash in Hamilton at 1:00p.m. Friday took the lives of Mrs. Ben G, Reynolds of Albany and her sister, Mrs. Ella Nowlin of Milton, Ky., who had spent two weeks here with Mr. And Mrs. Reynolds.

Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs, Nowlin went to Temple Tuesday to visit Mr Reynolds' sister, Mrs. George F. Bishop, and Mr. Bishop. They left Temple shortly after 10:00 Tuesday morning, and turning on Hishway 36 toward the business district of Hamilton, the Reynolds studebaker car was struck broadside by a truck driven by Lee Riley, colored, of Temple. The truck was loaded with feed.

Both Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs Nowlin was dead on arrival at the Hamilton hospital.

The First National Bank here was notified of the accident, and the family was told about the accident. The tragedy was a great shock to friends if Mr. And Mrs Reynolds. She was loved by all and will be remembered for the kindness and service she extended to all who were in need.

The bodies were brought to Albany by Castleberry Funeral Home and Mrs. Nowlins's body was shipped to Milton, Ky., her home, where burial was made.

Funeral for Mrs. Reynolds was held at the First Christian Church of Albany at 4:00 Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Harold Humphrey. Rev Humphrey stated in the passing of Mrs. Reynolds 'a very rich and inspiring life was ended."
