Eugene Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Reynolds, died in Childress, Saturday, February 12, 1927. He was taken with a severe case of pneumonia and only lived three or four days. His last remains were shipped to Albany for burial, the corpse arriving Sunday evening at five o'clock and funeral service and interment were held in Albany cemetery. Rev. W. (the next two sentences are marked through) life, but for the past several years had been in West Texas. Eugene as we all knew him, was one of those big hearted west Texas boys, generous and kind hearted, and had lots of friends wherever he lived. It is so sad for one to die in the prime of life and his death was a great shock to his parents and kindred. The News extends condolence to the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters and a large host of kinsfolks.
