Mrs. Garland Benham, 32 years old, died Tuesday morning at the Kentucky Baptist Hospital, Louisville. She had been in the hospital- but had returned home last week, and was taken back again Sunday. She had been in ill health for the past five years.
She is survived by her husband, Garland Benham, three sons, Garland Jr., David Howard and Johnny; six daughters, Lillian Earle, Audry May, Janice Marie, Ruth Ann, Margaret Lee and Bonnie; two brothers, Lamon and Paul Jupin; five sisters Mrs. Eva Springgate of Van Dyke, Mich., Mrs. Irene Bruce of West Point; Mrs. Gladys Benham and her twin sister Mrs. Zula Bishoff.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the Weldon Methodist Church, where she had been a member since early childhood. Burial was in church cemetery.
