North Vernon - Bessie Hein, 91, a resident of North Vernon Nursing Home for two years, died there Tuesday. She was formerly of Commiskey ans was the widow of Arthur Hein who died Nov. 29, 1975.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Tea Creek Baptist Church in Jennings County by the Rev. Dan Evans. Persons may call at Dove Funeral Home here. Burial will be at Tea Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Hein was born at Commiskey, Aug. 8, 1888, the daughter of Ephrim and Elizabeth Ellen Wright Granger. She was a member of Tea Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Branham and Irene Swords, both of North Vernon, eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Layman who died in 1971.
