Glenna was born in Detroit to Delbert and Mary Sample.
Sister of Glenn(deceased), Brenda, Kathleen Sample, Sharon and Gary.
Mother of Lisa, Rebecca, William III and Pamela Daniels(David).
Devoted grandmother of Gregory, Julia (Contessa, Anthony), Rachel, Roger (Kristina, Tiffany, Robert), Justin (deceased) and William.
Great Grandmother or GG as she was known, to Gregory, Kaylie, Serenity, Draven and Lilly . Glenna is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many close family friends that she dearly loved.
Glenna was married to the late William Fedishin Jr and together, they raised their four children, until his untimely death at the age of 56. Fifteen years later she joined him on his birthday.
Family and friends were Glenna's greatest joy. In the early days, she and Bill spent most of their spare time swimming, barbecuing and fishing with their children, extended family and friends. Also many trips to Belle Isle on hot summer days and nights. They enjoyed playing pool and hanging out with their many friends at P&L's in Hamtramck.
More recently, she enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and family on Facebook, sharing pictures, funny jokes, touching quotes, poking people and of course playing as many games as she could. She also enjoyed yard-sales, watching old movies, reading and socializing with her sister Kathy and many friends in her senior building.
She was a proud graduate of Wayne County Community College. Glenna was a professional shoe cobbler and manager of several shoe repair stores, she dedicated 20 years to this profession, where she made a number of lifetime friends of happy customers and fellow employees.
