Myrtle M. Cornwell, 91, of 207 Windsor Court, Apt. 20-C died suddenly at home on Wednesday, Nov. 4. She was a retired state employee and a member of Faith Bapist Temple.
She was born March 1, 1896 in Bladen to Anthony and Louisa (Barker) Day. She was twice married and was preceded in death by both Clifton Anderson and Clarence Cornwell.
Surviving is a son James Kenneth Anderson, Marysville, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Morgan Miller officiating and interment in Oakdale Cemetery
