Funeral Services for Troy Bill Miller, 95, were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mountain View with Rev. Lynn Richardson and Rev. Trulan Clark officiating.

He was born on December 9, 1921 in Cloud Chief, OK to Guy and Dicy (Cotter) MIller and passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family t his home in Fort Cobb.

He graduated from Cowden High School. He married Opal Pauline Flinn on January 12,1946 in Wellington, KS. Se preceded him in death on September 21, 2001. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII and later in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Troy Bill had a love for life and his family. He never met a stranger and every female was called "shugg". He spent his summers water skiing and pulling the grandkids around the lake on the sled. When it was too cold for the lake, he pulled them around on the lawn mower. His passion in life was peddling his "merchandise" also known as "junking." Later in his life Troy Bill could be seen driving his lawn mower and later his motor scooter around town so that he could keep in contact with all of his friends. He enjoyed going to the area ball games.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and David Rexroat of Fort Cobb, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, three brothers, Gip Miller, Leroy Miller and Mike MIller and four sisters, Norma Huckaby, Doris Commings, Joyce Maynard and Marjorie Guenther.

He was preceded in death y his parents, Guy and Dicy Miller; his wife Opal Pauline Miller; his daughter, Sue Miller; his son, Donnie Miller; his brother, Homer Miller; and his sisters, Margaret Mandrell, Ida Mae Littlefield, Ruby Devin, and Claudean Colwell; and one grandchild, Brandie Renee Miller.

Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent to www.smithfuneralservices.com.
