Mr. Lafe Pinson died at his home in Bee Ridge Township, last week of pneumonia.

Mr. Lazarus Pinson died last Wednesday of pneumonia. He is buried the day following in the old grave-yard on Mr. McColgan's farm. "Lazarus," as he was familiarly called, was only sick some two or three days when death came to relieve him of his suffering. His death has caused a deep gloom of sorrow to shadow over the entire community, for nevermore shall we see his pleasant face nor hear his cheery voice in relating anecdotes. Nevermore shall we meet him and grasp that friendly hand that often caused a thrill of joy and gladness to permeate our whole being. His work is ended here on earth. He is gone, whither we all must follow. He was a good man, a true christian and a faithful servant of his Master, always looking to that end that when the summons should come he was ready to go. "And when the rich man looked up he saw Lazarus a for off in Abraham's bosom."
