Second child of George Walker Sr. and Margaret Heefner.

Buried in a family cemetery. According to "Then Along Came Joe" by Wilma Walker Dunlap, he was buried on property deeded to him and his first wife, Elinder Looney, by her parents. At the time the book was published, that tract was "included in the Shannon Loyd farm" and his grave was found on the back side of a mountain top marked by a "large mountain type stone" which read "G. Walker, died March 22, 1862." "It is assumed that the other two large stones are the markers for the wives of George Walker and that the several small stones near by are that of infant children."
