NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- George D. "Jack" Winn, 79, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2004.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

George was born June 20, 1925, in Fort Worth. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1975 after 26 years, having served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He went on to work for the city of Fort Worth Water Department as an inspector for 20 years and retired in 1995.

Survivors: Wife, Lisa Crist of North Richland Hills; daughter, Jackie Jorgeson of Hurst; brother, Don Winn of Fort Worth; sister, Helen Jenkins of Fort Worth; caregiver, Rebecca Darter of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Christy and Dane; and two great-grandchildren.
