Kiezer - Robert Weekly was born in North Platte, Nebraska on December 24, 1933. He passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016 in Salem, Oregon. His last words were "I love everybody", which he truly did with his whole heart. He was the kind of man who put everyone's needs before his own and always had a kind word, joke or interesting story for those who had the privilege to cross his path. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Beverly, who preceded him in death in 2015.

Bob wore many hats in his professional life including building houses, working as an Oregon State Penitentiary prison guard and being a Teamster's Business Agent. He did everything well and with passion. He was a lifelong Elks member and frequented the Keizer Elks club on a regular basis. Bob was also a true American patriot who proudly served in the military and demonstrated his appreciation for the American Armed Services.

Bob recently moved to the Willamette Lutheran Retirement Community and was instrumental in keeping the party going at the "Happy half Hour". He was an amazing person who had a knack for bringing people together to enjoy a laugh or to provide a shoulder to lean on during more difficult times.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, son and daughter. He is survived by his son (James D'Eagle), daughter (Karen D'Eagle) and daughter-in-law (Dana D'Eagle).

His celebration of life will be held at Willamette Lutheran Community, 7693 Wheatland Road N, Keizer, Oregon 97303-3456 on August 20, 2016. Lunch and drinks will be provided from 12:30 to 2:00 pm in the Activity Room. Memorial services in the Chapel will be held at 2:00 pm. Assisting the family is Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
