Born in Cambridge MA, Ruth grew up in Belmont and received her BA degree from Boston University. She married Roland in 1941. Together they later moved to Concord where Ruth managed several businesses. She was an active member of the Concord Women's Club and the Trinitarian Congregational Church. At the time of her passing she was survived by two nieces, 3 nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. Services were held at the West Concord Union Church.
