H. Lorraine Losasso, 84, of Vandergrift died Wednesday (June 25, 2003) in Grove City Hospital, Grove City.
Born Aug. 18, 1918, in Vandergrift, she lived in the borough all of her life.
Mrs. Losasso was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church and the Vandergrift Women's Club, and was active in the Vandergrift Historical Society, all in Vandergrift.
She enjoyed bowling and card clubs.
Survivors include a son, Richard L. (Carol) Losasso of Grove City, and a daughter, Diane E. Larrieu of Philadelphia.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Patrick Larrieu and Allison Larrieu, both of Philadelphia, and Patrick Losasso and Kristin Losasso, both of Grove City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armide "Buster" Losasso, in 1998; her parents, Edward J. and Estelle Bradley Strobel; and two sisters, Margaruite Thomas and Evelyn Taylor.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the DUNMIRE-KERR FUNERAL HOME INC., 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Gertrude Church with the Rev. Leo Rothrauff officiating. Burial will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Vandergrift.
