BARKER, Anne Faudree, 79, of Esmont, formerly of Richmond, passed away December 13, 2016. The widow of John M. Barker, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Hoover; and son, Robert Cressel. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Doyle; three sons, Chuck Cressel, Steve Cressel and Jimmy Holt; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Tucker. Mrs. Barker was a member of Deep Run Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Deep Run Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ovarian cancer research.
