He joined his stepmother, Alice Faye Cressel; and sister, Brenda C. Hoover, with the Lord.
Bobby worked in construction where he specialized in carpentry. He also was skilled as a welder, ironworker and heavy equipment operator.
In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by his children, Robert L. Cressel Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of North Carolina, James E. Cressel of Spotsylvania County, Brandon L. Cressel of Esmont, Sharon L. Jenkins and fiance, David Wilk of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Tanya L. Cressel of Spotsylvania County, Candie N. Cressel of Scottsville; his fiancee, Brenda Utterback of Troy; brothers, Charles W. Cressel and wife, Carol, of Front Royal and Steve B. Cressel and wife, Debbie, of Elkton; sisters, Linda C. Doyle of Esmont, Teresa K. Lam and husband, George, of Elkton, Carolyn C. Hurt and husband, Gaither, of Elkton; three grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be private at a later time.
