Mrs. Emma Bales Bagley, aged 83, of 1400 Spring Street, widow of Edward O. Bagley, died Saturday at her home.

Mrs. Bagley was the daughter of Professor and Mrs. Aaron Bales. She was secretary-treasurer of the Beach Abstract and Guaranty Company, a member of the First Christian Church, the Arkansas Authors and Composers Society, the order of Eastern Star, Nicholas Headington Chapter of the United Daughters of 1812, Fine Arts Club of Arkansas, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Arkansas Pioneers Association, Musical Conterie, a charter member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service of the First Methodist Church at Little Rock, the Woman’s City Club and the Pulaski Heights Cultural Club.

Survivors include a son, Charles V. Bagley of Hollywood, Cal.; two daughters, Miss Helen Bagley of Little Rock and Mrs. Emma Sue Smith of Chickasha, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Cornie Mills of Little Rock; a brother, Walter E. Daniels of Little Rock, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church by Rev. Dan Kenner and Rev. Hal Fowler. Pallbearers will be Judge William J. Kirby, E. J. Risley, Burton Dougan, Elbert Brack, W. H., Flower Jr. and Cornelius Baldwin. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park by Griffin-Leggett.
