Arretta E. (Blouse) Arnold, 83, of Red Lion, died at 8:09 a.m. Monday at York Hospital.

She was the wife of Samuel L. Arnold, who died March 3, 1979.

The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Shenberger's Chapel United Methodist Church, Chapel Church Road, Red Lion RD 1.

Burial will be in Shenberger's Chapel Cemetery in New Bridgeville.

Viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Arnold was born April 17, 1913, in Lower Windsor Township.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Myers) Blouse.

She was a cigar maker for the former J.C. Winters in Red Lion.

She was a member of Shenberger's Chapel United Methodist Church, and its Sunday School and Widow Support Group.

She was a member of Susquehanna Senior Citizen Group in Craley and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by a son, Donald L. Arnold of Baltimore; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lee Arnold.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. G. Edward Cor celius, and the Rev. Albert R. Horst, pastor of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shenberger's Chapel Church Building Fund, Thelma Frey, Box 381, Red Lion RD 1 17356.
