Kathryn Lee Deranger, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed from this life on December 8, 2016.
She was born June 20, 1933, in Van Buren, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Alta Mae Sullivan Matlock.
Kathryn worked in food service for Sparks Regional Medical Center before retiring.
She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Deranger Eddy of Warrenton, Oregon, Kathy Deranger Fowler of Irving, Texas, Lisa Deranger of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Susie Deranger of Barling, Arkansas; two sisters, Carolyn Jordan of Arkoma, Oklahoma and Glenda Higginbotham of Marshall, Illinois; two brothers, Burrell Matlock of Liberty, Oklahoma and Roy Matlock of Kingsport, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Cortney Fowler Davis, Sarah Fowler Mateo, Emily Fowler, Blake Follis, Rachel Follis, Matthew Deranger, Billy and Brian Eddy. She had seven great granddaughters and three great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Deranger; a sister, Betty Kuzila as well a brother, Harmon Matlock. She left behind her two pets Honey and Elvis, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00pm in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
