Mary was the daughter of Lt John Puffer, Jr. and Abigail Vose of Dorchester and Stoughton, Mass. She m. Stoughton 15 April 1756, as his second wife, Jonathan FARRINGTON, b. Dedham 29 April 1728, d. Canton 25 Feb 1807, son of Jonathan Farrington and Prudence Childs. Mary and Jonathan had six known children.
