David "Fuzzo" Lozo, 66 of 120 W. Clark St. Ilion,brother of William "Sonny" Lozo, Floyd, died Tuesday, Feb. 14,1989, in Mohawk Valley General Hospital, Ilion.
Born in North Ilion, Sept. 26, 1923, he was a son of Fred and Florence McGraw Lozo. A Navy veteran of World War ll, he married Florence Blaine on July 14, 1944 in Ilion.
Mr. Lozo was a machanic at Reynolds & Lagtar Gas station, Ilion. He played guitar in several local country and western bands, was a square dance caller, and was a member of the National Rifle Association, and former member of Ilion Moose Lodge and Ilion American Legion Post.
Surviving besides his wife and brother are a daughter, Mrs. Bev Sweeny, Ilion; two sons, David "Pee Wee" Lozo and Bill Lozo both of Ilion; two sisters, Daisy Firman, Ilion, and Violet Bailey, Northville; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Applegate Funeral Home, Ilion. Burial will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
