Passed away suddenly at home at the age of 87. Predeceased by wife Dorothy (nee Cox). Surviving siblings, Glenelda, Bev, Larry, June and Sandra. Survived by sons Jack and Paul. Predeceased by sons Douglas and George. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Garth was active in the Scarborough community for 47 years in hockey, an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. Family and friends will be received at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Scarborough, ON, on Thursday, December 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
