Marie Doolin, 89, of Covington, died at 10:25 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at The Waters of Covington, having been a patient for three years.
She was born in Barren County, Ky., on Aug. 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Cleveland and Frances Bridges Tinsley.
She married Jim Doolin on Dec. 9, 1939, and he died Dec. 9, 1985.
Mrs. Doolin was a homemaker. She moved to Covington in 1997 from rural Williamsport and previously lived in Fithian and Oakwood, Ill. She was a member of United Baptist Church of Independence.
Surviving are a daughter, Frances Covault (husband: John) of Hillsboro; a son, Jimmy N. Doolin (wife: Kathy) of Covington; and a sister, Bertie Lee Strait of Indianapolis.
Services will be Friday in Kentucky.
