Mrs. Opal Ferguson Craig, 71, of Springfield, died Friday at St. John's Hospital. Born in Petersburg, daughter of John and Nellie McGary Ferguson. Preceded in death by husband Joseph in 1978, three sons and five grandchildren.

Survived by four sons, five daughters, brothers Russell and Donald Ferguson, sisters Maxine Gerry and Sylvia Hayden, 30 grandchildren.
