Burial will follow in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery in Tyler under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Holley passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
He was born April 29, 1942 in Tyler to the late Lacy and Lora Holley.
Butch joined the Air Force REGAF in 1961 as an Air Policeman. He then married his beloved wife Helen in 1971, had four wonderful children. Butch enjoyed working in his garden, carpentry, watching the Dallas Cowboys but most of all his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Holley was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.W. and Jim Tom Holley; sisters, Oleta Taylor and Jo Evans.
Butch is survived by his loving family including his wife of 35 years, Helen Holley of Tyler; daughters, Stacy Cochran and husband Jeff of Roanoke, Christie Barnes of Shreveport, LA; sons, Clint Holley of Tyler, Dennis Holley and wife Sharon of Tyler; nine grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Sybil Harris of DeQueen, AR, Betty Cauthen of Tyler, and Brenda Johnson and husband Mike of Witchita Falls.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Holley, Jacob Cochran, Kenneth Barnes, Dustin Barnes, Austin Holley, and Travis Holley.
Honorary Pallbearer will be granddaughter, Lora Holley.
The family will receive friends from 2:00- 4:00 PM Sunday, January 7, 2007, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703.
