Leota Mary Mix passed away on November 23, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 14, 1927 in Eutis Nebraska. She is the daughter of Birch and Elphino Lehman (Tripp). She was a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She owned her own Home daycare.
She will be missed by all that knew her.

Leota Mary Lehman Mix was born in Eustis, NE. Survivors include her husband Leo, and two brothers Ronald Lehman and Dale Lehman. Leota shared her joys in marriage to Leo Mix for 70 years. She raised a fine family of four children. Surviving include Susan Lake and her husband Marvin, John Mix, James Mix and his wife Vicki. The loves of her life were her grandchildren Jason, John, Gina, Jared, Ryan, Ashley and 8 great-grandchildren. Leota had a business certificate from McPherson Business School. She was CEO of her own home day care for 18 years. Her hobbies were traveling on State Farm trips, square dancing, and needlework. Leo and Leota retired in 1990 to Bella Vista, Arkansas. In later years, at Town Village Leota played many board games and was fondly known as the "Puzzle Lady" with many on display. Leota was known for the twinkle in her eyes, infectious laugh and feisty spirit which will be missed by all. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice.
