Having done extensive family genealogical research to achieve membership in DAR, Julie has been interested in this type of work for many years. With the help of husband Ray and brother Don, she continues adding to her family tree. This research was helped tremendously by Find A Grave volunteers, including one who found an unmarked grave of a family member. We had a new headstone made and it has been installed, now properly marking the grave. We hope our small contribution to the site helps others doing research. To all the field volunteers and to those who maintain this site - THANK YOU!!!!

We are now full-time RVers which allows us to travel all around the country, giving us the opportunity to visit so many more cemeteries.

We ALWAYS respect family members and do not do this for numbers or "to be first". We simply want to memorialize family and friends who have passed and those who are not yet represented here (no one should be forgotten). We will ALWAYS grant transfer requests from family members without question. We also are fine with anyone using photos that we post on Find a Grave. Thanks again!
