Mrs. Hattie Lindsey
Landrum, Jan 6 -- Mrs. Hattie Lindsey 60, wife of R.L. Lindsey died in a Greenville hospital at 3:35 this afternoon following a year of declining health and 24 hours of serious illness.
Mrs. Lindsey was born and reared in the Highland section of Greenville county and was a member of the Ebenezer- Welcome Baptist church all of her life and was faithful in the work as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by her husband, R.L. Lindsey, her mother Mrs. Sallie Sudduth, Greenville, one brother Bud Sudduth, Greenville; and two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Ward and Mrs. W.A. Mosteller, Greenville.
Funeral services will be held from the Ebenezer - Baptist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Other funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Petty Funeral home in Landrum.
