Mrs. Emma Leora Bashline, 84, died Wednesday, February 1, 1956, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hazel McCall, Clarion.

Mrs. Bashline, a daughter of Felty and Mary Myers, was born in Piney Township.

She was married to Frank Bashline on October 6,1892. Mr. Bashline died April 13, 1954.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs Ethel McCall, Parker; Mrs. Hazel McCall, Clarion; Quincy Bashline, Flushing, OH; Iola Dovenspike and Jay Bashline, RD Rimersburg. Two sons, Dr. McClelland Bashline and Byrd Bashline, are desceased.

He (sic) also leaves a sister, Mrs. Effie Snyder, Curllsville, and a brother, Thompson Myers, Sligo. She was a member of the Curllsville Reformed Church and the WCTU.

Funeral services were held on February 4 in Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo, with the Rev. Mr. Wetzel officiating.

Burial was made in the Churchville Cemetery.

Clarion RD.2 died at 3 p. m. Wednesday in the home of her daughter. Surviving are five children, one brother, one sister, 22. grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren. The body is in the Hawk Funeral Home where friends may call and attend services at 2 p. m. Saturday with Rev. Eugene Wetzel and Rev. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Churchville Cemetery.
