Dorothy D. Haddock, age 93, passed from his life Friday, November 18, 2016 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital.

She was born in Bonifay, FL on November 25, 1922 to Josh and Nina “Worley” Dykes.

Mrs. Dorothy worked for Washington County School Board and was a life-long member of the community.

She was a member of the Vernon Assembly of God Church.

Dorothy was a member of the Vernon Garden Club, and past President of the Pink Ladies of Northwest Florida Community Hospital.

She was also Chaplin for the Vernon V.F.W. and was a part of the Florida State Singing Convention.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Herbert Cecil Haddock and wife Charolette Elaine of Paxton, FL, Edward Haddock of Vernon, FL and Lynn Wayne Haddock and wife Barbara of Vernon, FL. Two daughters; Margaret Fletcher and husband Frank of Vernon, FL and Betty Spivey and husband James of Chipley, FL, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:30P.M., Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Wausau Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Roger Dale Hagan and Rev. Preston Haddock officiating.

Interment will follow in the Haddock Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00P.M., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Grace and Glory Church in Chipley, FL.
