Mrs. Arnold was born on January 12, 1923 in Hawkinsville, GA the daughter of the late B. C. (Carl) and Zella P. Arthur. She was a long time member of the Brooksville Methodist Church. She began her career as a telephone operator in Shellman, GA. and did sewing for the public. After her marriage to Robert Foye Arnold, she assisted in the farming operation and continued with her son after the death of her husband. One of nine children, she is survived by two sisters; Louise A. Mitchell of Albany and Frances A. Hodges of Travelers rest, SC.
Survivors include her daughter; Kay (Tommy) Arnold Goss, her son; Stewart Arnold and her grandsons; Jim (Mallori) Arnold and Robert (Annie) Arnold along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 3:30 until funeral time. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
