Waukon, Ia. -- The body of Albert Boomer Barker, 73, who died Wednesday night at the Allamakee County Home where he had been taken a few days ago due to ill health, was taken to Prairie du Chien, Wis., Friday for burial.
Mr. Barker, who was a blacksmith at Harpers Ferry for many years, is survived by seven children. They are Myrtle Adney of McGregor, Mrs. Ira M. Colby, Mrs. Florence Evans, Mrs. Abbie Show, and Carrie Barker, all of Prairie du Chien, and Charles and William Barker, both of Marquette.
