Anna was born Dec. 21, 1925, on the family farm near Zeeland, the daughter of Peter and Marianna (Deisz) Baumstarck. She grew up and resided on the family farm until 1970, when she moved to Bismarck and was employed as a live in housekeeper until 1996 when she retired.
Anna was an excellent cook and made the best bread ever. She loved to grow flowers and did exquisite embroidery. Anna fully embraced her faith. Christmas was her favorite time of year, every nook of her home was decorated. She dressed with flourish.
Anna is survived and will be remembered by her daughter, Joan Baumstarck (Les Stapleton), Gold Canyon, Ariz.; and her sister, Mary, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Anton, Frank and John Baumstarck; and her sisters, Elizabeth Lesmeister, Christene Streifel, Rose Vetter and Barbara Fix.
