Lela will be greeted in heaven by 1 Son: Keith Haney; 1 Daughter: Shirley Denman; 3 Brothers and 4 Sisters; 2 Grandsons and 1 Great Grandson.
Mrs. Haney was a former member of Piqua Baptist Church and was presently attending Light House Ministries in Sidney, Ohio. She was a waitress for over 50 years retiring in 1971. Lela avidly enjoyed baseball, crochet, and had a passion for sewing, dancing, and her family.
Funeral services will be Friday January 10, 2003 at 1 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Robert Denman and Rev. Paul Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 P.M. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice 900 Scioto St. Urbana, Ohio 43078.
