George Chase Miner was born Friday, July 28, 1876 in Springville, Utah to Moroni Miner and Nancy Elizabeth Chase.

He married Mary Viola Patrick on January 18, 1905 in the Manti LDS Temple. She paased away on April 23, 1961.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a lab technician at Shell Oil Company and retired after many years of service.

George passed away of natural causes at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 1965 at Murray Care Center in Murray, Utah. He resided at 2977 South 9000 West in Magna, Utah at the time of his death.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, June 4, 1965 at 1:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 West 2700 South in Magna. A viewing was held on Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the services.
George was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at Valley View Memorial Park in Granger.
