Reported age at time of death was 65 years, so evidently born about 1806. Apparently she is Caroline, the wife of Charles ROGERS.

“FUNERAL NOTICE. // The friends and acquaintances of Mr. and Mrs. CHARLES ROGERS are invited to attend the funeral of the latter, from Trinity Church, at 11 o’clock Wednesday, 25th inst[ant = of the current month].” [Columbus (GA) Enquirer newspaper, Tuesday, 24 JAN 1871, p. 3.]

Mary Jane Galer's list of persons interred in the New Cemetery area of Linwood shows: Mrs. C. ROGERS, female, born in Virginia, died aged 65 years of congestion of the brain; buried 25 JAN 1871 in Section A, Lot 63 - Sexton James LYNAH.

This grave is probably not identifiably marked. Also reported to be buried in Section A, Lot 63, is William D. MATTHEWS (buried 27 MAY 1880, aged 6 months).

Note that the Sexton's records show Charley ROGERS was buried 26 MAR 1890, aged 97 years, in Section 1, Lot 63. Perhaps he is actually buried in Section A, Lot 63, or perhaps Mrs. C. ROGERS is actually in Section 1, Lot 63? The grave of Eugene ROGERS (1824-1867) appears to be in the vicinity where Charley ROGERS is reported to be interred.
