Rudolph Lomely 81, of Omar, departed this life Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Logan, WV on June 19, 1935 to the Late Adolph and Josephine (Sanchez) Lomely. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, George Lomely, Adolph Lomely, and Raymond Lomely; three sisters, Angel Lomely, Isavel Lomely, and Rosa Costello Spears. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Ruby Lomely; three sons, David Lomely of Charleston, Charles Ray (Lora) Brewer of Omar, and Donald Brewer of Ohio; two daughters, Ruby Burchfield of Omar, Della (Kyle) Dempsey of Ohio; two brothers, Joseph (Barbara) Lomely of Indiana, Terry (April) Thomas of Logan; three sisters, Cecelia (Johnny) Martin of Indiana, Josephine Mobech of Ohio and Lois (Roger) Nelson of Micco; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Funeral Home . Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer will be in charge of arrangements.
