Glenda was a lifetime member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and lifetime attendee of Balls Creek Campground. She retired from teaching after more than 30 years at Claremont and Maiden Elementary Schools. She continued to touch the lives of many students for years after her retirement. She supported her husband and family in their many interests and activities while enjoying her own which included beach trips, gardening and flower beds. She also enjoyed making quilts for her family and loved ones and many people in the community, each one crafted with love and designed especially for the receiver. And through the years, she learned to love the horses through the eyes of her granddaughter Katie.
