Elizabeth Eddy Jones was born in Illogan, Cornwall, England circa 1843. She married Peter Perry Jones in 1865. They moved east to Isle of Man and then to Yorkshire, England. Elizabeth and her children came to the USA on the British Princess, Dec. 1885; she came with the following children: Peter Jones (1869), William HENRY Jones (1870), John Jones (1874), Albert Jones (1875), Edith Jones Heal (1880), Emily Jones Rees(e) (1882). Daughters Eliza Jane Jones Rundle and Mary Ellen Jones Melson and their families would also come to the USA before the 1900 census. The Peter Perry Jones family, the Eliza Jane Jones Rundle family, and Mary Ellen Jones Melson family all settled in Conyngham Twp (Alden), and all eventually moved to Forty Fort PA. The Jones family lived on Butler Street, Forty Fort, near son John Jones, and grandsons Peter Perry Jones and William "Jonesy" Jones.
