LOST
Albert Fleury, of the east side, who has been working in Treagold's camp on Bois Blanc island, came over Saturday for some medicine, he started to walk back to the island late in the afternoon and up to Monday night nothing had been heard from him. It is feared that he lost his way in the storm and perished, as Sunday and Monday parties were out searching for him on the straits, but found no trace of him. Published in The Cheboygan Democrat, February 17, 1905.

The ten dollars reward offered by the Maccabees of this city, for the finding of Albert Fleury's body has been paid to the two boys who made the discovery, each getting five. One hour after the coroners' inquest had been held, the fifty dollars funeral benefit was paid, and as soon as the widow makes out the necessary papers she will receive the $1000 insurance carried by her husband in that order.
