Geraldine "Jeri" Mahan, 93, of Taylorville, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 in her residence with her family by her side.
Geraldine was born October 30, 1922, in Schulter, Okla., the daughter to Henry and Drusilla Ratliff (Flor). She married Harold Mahan on October 3, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1982. She worked for the City of Taylorville as a custodian for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, and planting flowers.
She is survived by her sons, "Skip" Mahan of Ill., Bill (Jackie) Mahan of Decatur; daughters Cheryl, Carol, Sandra; sisters, Marie; numerous great-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents, daughters, Kelly and Susan, sister, Madge.
Cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. There will be no public services.
