Madera- Edward Greenaway, 71, of Madera, died in the Philipsburg State Hospital Saturday evening, September 7.
Born in Maryland on November 17, 1874, a son of Edward and Sarah Parker Greenaway, both deceased, Mr. Greenaway spent most of his life in Madera. He was a retired coal miner.
Surviving are his widow, Mary, and a brother, James, both of Madera.
Funeral services will be held from the Madera Methodist church Wednesday, September 11, at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Arthur Garver of Glen Hope. Interment will be made in Alexander Cemetery.
