Mr. Vernon Glenn, age 83 of Springfield, Tennessee and formerly of Allensville, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville of natural causes.



He was born June 11, 1933 in Allensville, Kentucky the son of the late Myrtle Glenn. He was a member of Faith Is The Victory Church for 30 years and he taught children’s Bible Study. He loved his family and working with livestock.



He was preceded in death by his mother and one daughter Kathy Glenn (1957). He is survived by his wife of 66 years Robbie Glenn of Springfield and daughter Patricia Singletary of Old Hickory, Tennessee.



Visitation with the Glenn family will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday morning at 11:00 in the Chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie.
