C. F. Bogle , was born February 8, 1835. and died January 11, 1917, aged 81 year, 11 months and 3 days. He was married to Martha Ann Shields at Mt. Pleasant, Brown county, Illinois, August 31st, 1865. Five children were born to them, two sons and three daughters of which three with his wife survive him. They are Mrs. Jackson Walker, of Chillicothe, Missouri, Jas. L. Bogle, of Earlton ard R. Donald Bogle, of Iola. One child died in infancy and a daughter, Mrs. Etta Moran died February 9, 1898. He came to Kansas shortly after the civil war, where he became ,well acquainted and made many friends who mourn their loss.
