Miami Daily News Record Obituary, June 29, 1938:
Vannoy Anderson, Jr., 12-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Vannoy Anderson of Quapaw, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday night at the home.

Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Walter, and five sisters, Lula, Romina, Gladys, Vivian and Joan, all of the home, and a grandmother, Mrs. Olie Moore, living in Arkansas.

Funeral services were held at the residence at 2:30 p.m. today. Burial was in Ottawa cemetery, south of Miami, with the Durnil funeral home in charge.
