Daddy by Judy Maelyn Frady Farley 1995

Daddy was a christian man, he worked and toiled hard all his life,
All the ups and downs that came, he always took in stride.
He always put the Lord, first in his life,
So when he died I was sad for Mamma, but for daddy I was glad.

No more work for Daddy,
His toils are all complete.
No more work for Daddy,
He's sitting at Jesus' feet.
No more work for daddy, His pain's all gone away.
And we can all join Daddy, when it comes our judgement day.

Daddy always taught us the difference in right and wrong,
So when temptation came our way, it made it easier to be strong.
Cause we respected Daddy and hated to let him down,
So by following daddy's lead, it helped us to be heaven bound.

No more work for Daddy,
His toils are all complete.
No more work for Daddy,
He's sitting at Jesus' feet.
No more work for daddy, His pain's all gone away.
And we can all join Daddy, when it comes our judgment day.
